Z Holdings Corporation, a consolidated subsidiary of SoftBank Group, is one of the constituents of the Nikkei Average Stock Price Index and TOPIX Large70. It was originally established in 1996 as Yahoo Japan Corporation but transitioned to a holding company and changed its corporate name on October 1, 2019. A Holdings Corporation, the largest shareholder of Z Holdings, is a joint venture between SoftBank Corp. and Naver, and is defined as a consolidated subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. under the joint venture agreement. The company agreed to a management integration with LINE on November 18, 2019, and announced a merger with Yahoo and LINE in April 2023.
